What is iWay Enable?

iWay Enable is an integration platform that turns real-time data and events inside and outside the enterprise into actionable information that help organizations improve their business with faster, informed decisions.

iWay Enable is a product built on top of iWay Service Manager that adds Complex Event Processing (CEP) and a Business rules engine (BRE) to iWays world class, Data Quality and Business process management (BPM) tools.

This solution is designed to provide Real-time, non-invasive visibility into automated business processes. Accumulated data is aggregated into a Real-time data store. Real-time enabled gauges and charts are used to visualize this data, which can be served through Enable's own Web2.0 composite application style web API.

iWay Enable 1.3 includes usability enhancements, performance enhancements and social media integration.

    New Features:
  • Dashboard tool: A new Dashboard tool is now available for creating and managing custom dashboards and mashups. User can add built-in Enable portlets for visualzing real-time event feeds and they can add third-party web 2.0 gadgets like Google or Twitter gadgets and widgets.
  • Business Rules Engine: The iWay Enable 1.3 Business Rules Engine (BRE) has several usability and optimization enhancements. The BRE environment for creating and editing rules has an updated Graphical User Interface. The rules and rulesets engine has been updated to allow more complex conditions to be run more efficiently.
  • Actions Framework: The Enable Actions Framework for handling the business rules processing outcomes, has been expanded to support more action types. These action types include sending emails, running a process flow as a service, running iWay Enable built-in services, integrating with social media technologies like Salesforce.com Chatter and Twitter, and the ability to call iWay Enable or iWay Service Manager process flows via RESTful style services.
  • Social Media Integration: iWay Enable can now augment business collaboration through social media channels like Salesforce.com Chatter with real-time data and analytics content, enabling organizations to take advantage of opportunities or resolve problems as they occur inside or outside the enterprise. The expanded offering also allows organizations to monitor the pulse of business through its ability to consume, process and analyze Twitter feeds. These new integrations are made available through the Actions Framework enhancements.
